Mark Holterman is a professional tutor who teaches pediatrics and surgery at the famed University Of Illinois College Of Medicine. Mark Holterman has been working in collaboration with the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to address the effects of type 2 diabetes in children. The Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Mark Holterman have developed an initiative, “the Camp Power Up,” a platform that guides children on how to eat healthily. This program aims to help teenagers take up practices that will help them lower the risk of developing type two diabetes.
Dr. Mark Holterman also volunteers at the International Pediatric Specialists Alliance for the Children of Vietnam. He supports this group with the objective of helping the healthcare professionals in Vietnam improve on how they offer pediatric services. Mark Holterman and other volunteers provide services in the form of lectures, training, patient care, and surgery at local medical schools in Vietnam.
