Dr. Jennifer Walden is a plastic surgeon who practices in Austin, Texas. She studied biology at the University of Texas and went on to receive her Doctorate from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Following this, she attended the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, where she earned a fellowship of aesthetic surgery.
For the first seven years of her career as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Walden worked in New York City. It was at this time that Dr. Walden contributed to clinical trials, specifically those that reintroduced silicone breast implants. In 2011, Dr. Walden returned to Texas and opened a private practice in Westlake Hills. She then opened another office in Marble Falls, Texas.
Dr. Walden offers many aesthetic medical procedures. Her face based procedures include facelifts, eyelid surgery, brow lifts, facetite, necktite, chin implants, and rhinoplasty. Her body based procedures include breast enlargements, breast reductions, liposuction, tummy tucks, arm lifts, buttock augmentations, and labiaplasty. Additionally, she offers treatment for hair loss, fillers and injectables, and skin care.
Dr. Walden and her work have been featured in many magazines and medical publications. These include Harper’s Bazaar, Health, Austin Business Journal, Texas MD, and Absolute. Articles and research Dr. Walden has written have been published in Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Annals of Plastic Surgery.
She has won several awards, most notably being named a Texas Super Doctor by Texas Monthly. In 2016 she was invited to become a member of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons.
